1. Information we collect
We collect data necessary to provide our text-to-view video generation services securely and reliably.
Account information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and a secure password. Your password is hashed using industry-standard algorithms and never stored in plain text.
Content you create: When you use 琳嫣 Text-to-View to generate videos from text, we process and store:
- Story text or storyboard files you upload (.md format)
- Video generation settings (models, aspect ratio, style presets, etc.)
- Generated video outputs and associated metadata
- Chat conversations with our AI planning system
Usage data: We automatically collect:
- IP address and approximate location (country/city level)
- Browser type, language, and device information
- Page views, feature usage, and interaction patterns
- Performance metrics (generation time, error rates)
- Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 5)
Payment information (when available): Currently, our billing system is manual. When we implement automated payments, payment details will be processed through PCI-DSS compliant processors, and we will never store full card numbers.
2. How we use your information
We use collected information to:
- Provide and improve services: Generate videos from your stories, maintain your workspace, and deliver generated content
- Authenticate and secure access: Verify your identity, manage sessions, and protect against unauthorized access
- Personalize your experience: Remember your preferences, recommended models, and usage patterns
- Operate and improve infrastructure: Monitor system performance, debug issues, and develop new features
- Comply with legal obligations: Respond to legal requests and protect our rights and safety
- Communication: Send service announcements, security alerts, and (with consent) product updates
3. Data sharing and disclosures
We do not sell your personal information. We only share data in the following circumstances:
- Service providers: We use third-party processors for hosting, authentication, payment processing, and AI model infrastructure (including ByteDance models via Flowdaptor). These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and use it only for provided services.

- Business transfers: In case of merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your data may be transferred as part of the transaction. You will be notified via email or website notice.

4. Data retention and deletion
Retention periods:
- Account data: We retain your account information for as long as your account is active or as required by law
- Generated content: Videos and storyboards are retained for 90 days after generation unless you delete them earlier
- Usage logs: Aggregated analytics are retained indefinitely; individual usage logs are retained for 12 months
- Communication records: Support tickets and messages are retained for 24 months
Delete your data: You can:
- Download all your generated content at any time
- Request account deletion by contacting [email protected]
- Permanently delete generated content through your workspace settings
After account deletion, we will remove your personal information from our active databases within 30 days. Some information may be retained in backup systems for legal compliance and will be securely erased within 180 days.
